Refresher Course
Who this course is for:
This climbing course is for people who have already acquired the skills for top roping or lead climbing, but now require an instructor to refresh through various skills to ensure they are safe.
What this course provides:
On this course, your instructor will help to refresh your memory on the various skills of using a top rope or using the lead wall. This session is an opportunity for you to make sure you are safe and confident when using the top rope or lead wall unsupervised. This course is not for learning the full process, if you have never acquired the skills for top rope or lead climbing please refer to the beginner’s course or lead course. All day admission to the barn is included in the price of this course, which means once your course is over you can continue using the top rope, lead wall or boulder, providing your instructor finds you competent to do so unsupervised.
Duration: Up to one hour.
Price: The prices below include admission
- 30mins for £12.50 per person
- 1 hour for £20 per person
- 1½ hours for £30 per person

Extra Information:
For young people between ages 14-17 yrs attending this course, we will need parents/guardians to come in and sign a Parental Consent Form and an unsupervised under 18 form. The Parental Consent Form allows the young person to participate in the course if the parents/guardians are not there. The unsupervised under 18 form will ultimately allow them to use the bouldering area, top rope and lead wall areas unsupervised, providing their instructor finds them competent to do so.
